Invincible series review: Why this Prime video series is becoming so popular

If we talk about the best animated superhero shows in the modern era of the 21th century, we will go with so many shows that gave us the best experience that we could demand. But the one show that has hooked up in this modern timeline would be none other than the original Prime Video series, “Invincible.” Invincible was created by Robert Kirkman and artist Cory Walker, and the comics were published by Image Comics under their Skybound Entertainment imprint.

The Invincible TV series was released on March 25, 2021, and the title of the first episode was “It’s About Time”; the platform was Prime Video. The first three episodes of the Invincible series were dropped together on Prime Video, and it was just the beginning of this ultimate show! If we talk about the Invincible review for the first 3 episodes, then it was phenomenal; everyone loved the first episode itself, and the ending of the first episode made the hook for this deep-sea dive of this Prime Video show. The story follows our main character, Mark Grayson, who is the son of the strongest superhero, Omni-Man, or you could say Nolan Grayson. Nolan comes from another planet, and their race is called Viltrumites, and they are one of the strongest races that rule over several planets.

Nolan saves a woman, Debbie, from getting crushed by a vehicle, and eventually they fall in love and have a kid that is Mark Grayson, and later, when Mark grows up, he gets his powers and gets the name “Invincible.” At first it feels like a normal superhero show, but later we get to know about the plot twist in the latter end of the first episode, where Nolan calls the entire Guardians (superhero team of Earth) to their base, and they all seem confused as no one called each other, and at the end Nolan attacks everyone, and every member of Guardians gets confused as Omni-Man is attacking them for no reason, and with this confusion Omni-Man kills each one of them brutally, and it was one of the most brutal death scenes of superheroes, and the only surviving member was Omni-Man.

No one in the world could identify who the killer was, as Omni-Man was treated as an only survivor victim of the mass killing of the superhero team. But we get to know about the truth of Nolan at the end of season 1, and we get the most brutal fight between Mark and Nolan that totally destroys cities and thousands of lives, and eventually Nolan beats up Mark and tells him that he was sent on the mission to breed with the humans so that their race could spread their genes and rule over Earth, and he didn’t love anyone, not even Debbie and Mark.

The finale was filled with emotions, fights, great voice acting, and many more. The voice acting of the Invincible series has to be the best voice acting of a show, and it’s pretty obvious too, as the show is filled with S-tier voice actors like J.K. Simmons and so many more. Season 1 built the tempo of the upcoming seasons, and fans were surprised with how good this show has been, so Prime Video knew that they had to renew it for the upcoming seasons and did the same. A total of 4 seasons are out, and season 4 is on its end, and the best arc is being covered up on the show that is the Viltrumite War, and people are loving this show, and even the critics are giving their best scores for this show.
